Each of our individually designed bedrooms combines timeless Georgian character with understated comfort, while inviting sitting rooms, fire places and far-reaching views across the Coly Valley create spaces to slow down, relax and feel at home.

The Cabins

Tucked away within the grounds of Glebe House, our self-contained cabins offer a private countryside escape with all the comforts of home. Each cabin features its own fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space and secluded patio, creating the perfect setting for slow mornings, relaxed evenings and longer stays. Surrounded by sweeping views across the Coly Valley and the East Devon countryside, they're ideal for couples and guests seeking boutique accommodation with the freedom to explore the Jurassic Coast at their own pace.

The Gardens & Grounds

Set within 15 acres (7 hectares) of beautiful East Devon countryside, the gardens at Glebe House offer space to relax, explore and reconnect with nature. Discover the mature gardens, kitchen garden and growing areas that supply our farm-to-table restaurant, or enjoy the outdoor swimming pool (May–September) and tennis court.

Throughout the year, guests can also experience seasonal outdoor dining, creative workshops and art courses, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Coly Valley. Just three miles from the Jurassic Coast, Glebe House enjoys uninterrupted countryside views where sea mists roll inland from Lyme Bay.

Sauna and Cold Plunge

Our wood-fired sauna and cold plunge offer a peaceful space to slow down, restore and reconnect with nature. Tucked away in a secluded corner of the gardens beyond the tennis court, the sauna enjoys sweeping views across the Coly Valley, the rolling East Devon hills and the village of Southleigh.

Whether you've spent the day exploring the Jurassic Coast, walking the South West Coast Path or simply unwinding at Glebe House, the contrast of soothing heat and invigorating cold water provides the perfect way to relax and recharge. The House & Gardens: A Family Home Reimagined

Nestled above the Coly Valley in the village of Southleigh, East Devon, Glebe House has long been a place of gathering. Once a family home, it remains intimate and personal - a unique Georgian guest house to return to after walking the cliffs, swimming in Lyme Bay, or exploring the area of outstanding natural beauty.

With 9 bedrooms including three self-contained cabins and an annexe, this guest house in Colyton is spacious enough for guests to find their own little nook within the house. There's plenty of opportunity to relax with two inviting living areas with fireplaces perfect for reading or playing a game. Being just 3 miles from the sea and overlooking the Coly Valley, you can watch the sea mists roll in through the rolling hills while enjoying the quiet and uninterrupted views that are right on your doorstep.

Our Michelin-green-star restaurant consists of 4 comfortable separate dining areas suitable for both small & larger groups, with glorious views and unique original art. Guests enter through the garden room at the front of the house which has views down the spectacular Coly Valley.

Set in 15 acres / 7 hectares of land area is the boutique guest house and farm-to-table restaurant with a large mature garden, kitchen garden, and a growing area. The gardens, outdoor swimming pool (open between May - September), and tennis court are also available for you and your group enjoyment.
